Debra Lynn Shirley, 65, of DeRidder passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2020. Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 25, from 5-8 p.m. at Chaddick Funeral Home. Graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Wade Carroll, Sr. officiated.

Debra is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul “Pete” Shirley, Sr. of DeRidder; two sons, Paul “Pete” Shirley, Jr. and Sarah of DeRidder, and David Patrick Shirley of DeRidder; eight grandchildren, Charleston, Kimber, Ian, Kip, Dixie, Chance, Alex, and Kellie; two great-granddaughters, Sarah and Stephanie; three brothers, Alfred Trahan and Claire of Lake Charles, Joseph Trahan and Becky of Grand Lake and Brandon Trahan of Lake Charles,; one uncle, Jerry Savoie and Margaret of Cameron; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Debra Gwen; sister, Juanita Primeaux; brother, Timothy “Smokey” Trahan; parents, Melvin and Alma Trahan; and two uncles, McKinley “Mac” Savoie and Eugene “Coco” Trahan.
