Darrel R. “Bee” Ancelet, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, in a local hospital.

He served in the U.S. Army. He was a carpenter for Cit-Con Refinery for over 18 years and later retired from Turner Industries.

He is survived by his children, Wayne Ancelet and wife Nita of Sulphur, Rhonda Swire and husband Robert of Hackberry, Jerry Ancelet of Hackberry, and Janet Andrepont of Hackberry; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Roxanne Nutt; and brother, William Ancelet.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fernell Ancelet; parents, Theo, Sr and Elnora; and five siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Nov. 21, in St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial followed in Mimosa Pines Cemetery of Carlyss. under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.
