Daniel “Danny” Louis Guillory, 77, of Bell City, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born in Bell City.

He graduated from Bell City High School.

He began working as rice farmer in Sweetlake. Later he became the caretaker at the Coastal Club where he guided many duck hunts, fishing trips, and alligator hunts. He retired from the Coastal Club in 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Judith “Judy” Clement; children Tammy Rider, Tara (Steven) Vance, Danielle Guillory, and David (Kristin) Guillory, all of Sweetlake; siblings, Kemble Guillory of Moss Bluff, and Don Guillory of Albuquerque NM; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents RL and Lela Mae “Toot” Guillory; and son in law Dwayne Rider.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Msgr. James Gaddy officiated. Burial followed in Pine Island Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
