PROCEEDINGS

There was a regular meeting of Gravity Drainage District No. 8 at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2022, at the Grand Lake Waterworks Office.
PRESENT: Jake McCain, Marsha Delaney, Terry Smith, Tommy Arceneaux, James Cox
ABSENT: None
GUESTS: Leslie Griffith, Matt Crador
On motion of James Cox, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the minutes of the of the September 15, 2022, meeting are approved.
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the Finance Report through October 31, 2022, was approved as presented by the Secretary.
On a motion of Tommy Arceneaux, seconded by James Cox and carried, the board approved the 2023 Budget as presented by the Secretary.
On a motion of Tommy Arceneaux, seconded by Terry Smith and carried, the board approved the following permits as presented by the secretary:
a. LCUP # 221102 – BP – Subsurface soil testing
b. LCUP # 221104 – Texas Gas – Install and connect anodes
c. LCUP # 221108 – Brannon Hebert – Pond and house pad
Matt Crador requested a work order to investigate drainage issue with a flap gate in Big Lake.
The board requested the Secretary request a work order to clean lateral 20D.
On motion of Marsha Delaney, second by Terry Smith and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
