South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1
The South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 met in regular session on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 4:30 at the Cameron Parish School Board – Audrey Memorial Building c – 3151 Trosclair Road, Creole, LA 70632.
President Joseph Baccigalopi called the meeting to order. Joseph Baccigalopi led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Prayer.
The following members were present: Joseph Baccigalopi, Todd Conner, Vickie Kiffe, Michelle Trahan and Tammy Vincent
The following members were absent: Shane Broussard
The following guests were in attendance: Mitch Thomas- K&M Project Services It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Tammy Vincent, and carried, to approve the agenda.
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Tammy Vincent, and carried, that the minutes from the previous meetings are hereby approved.
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried that the financial statements and budget to actual comparison are approved for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 1, Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7, and Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 9.
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to pay monthly bills for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 1, Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7 and Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 9.
It was moved by Todd Conner, seconded by Vickie Kiffe, and carried, to change Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7 (Creole) RV Water Charge Rates (3/4″ Commercial Rate): $35.00 (flat rate) for 5,000 gallons of water and $3.00 per thousand gallons over the maximum starting December 2024 billing.
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to accept and authorize the President to sign the change order for the consolidation project of the ground storage tank (Grand Chenier).
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to rescind the motion made on October 28, 2024, to hire a full-time operator for Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7.
It was moved by Todd Conner, seconded by Tammy Vincent, and carried, to adopt the First Horizon resolution pertaining to Cameron Waterworks District No. 1 signature cards.
It was moved by Vickie Kiffe, seconded by Todd Conner, and carried, to change Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 7 (Creole) Reconnect Fee from $100.00 to $60.00 per account reconnection starting December 2024.
There being no further business, on the motion of Michelle Trahan, seconded by Tammy Vincent and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
