The Special meeting of the Board of Directors of Cameron Parish Mosquito Abatement District No. 1 was held at 5:00 p.m., October 29, 2020 at the Cameron Parish 4-H Building/on-line/phone through Zoom. Board members present were Mitchel Kelley, Marck Smythe, Thomas Cox, Nat Griffith, Gregory Gray and Dede Sanders. Karl Styron was absent.
The meeting was called to order by Thomas Cox.
Gregory Gray made a motion, seconded by Nat Griffith, and carried to purchase a cargo trailer to store tools and equipment without getting more quotes due to exemption for disasters.
The Hurricane accommodations were discussed regarding the office and building a warehouse in Sweetlake.
The next meeting will be determined at a later date. There being no further business, Dede Sanders made the motion, seconded by Gregory Gray and carried to adjourn the meeting.
