CPAD2 met on September 22,
2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the CPAD 2
Office at 979 Main St. Hackberry,
La. 70645
Members Present: Kattie
Toups, Phyllis Doxey, Calise
Romero, Kathleen Simon and
Randall McFatter.
Members Absent: Lynn Griffith
Guests: Darla Perry, Rhonda
Coleman, Troy Meaux, Eric and
Sandra Fuselier, Steven Derouen,
Chris Spicer and Rachael
Sturlese.
Meeting called to order at 6:00
p.m.
Pledge led by Mrs. Simon
Prayer led by Mrs. Simon
Members approved the July 21,
2021 board minutes with a motion
by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs.
Simon and carried unopposed.
When ask there were no public
comments.
Old Business:
None
New Business:
The 2020 Audit was presented
by Mr. Derouen with no material
weaknesses or significant deficiencies
in internal control noted
and no instances of non-compliance
noted. Mr. McFatter made a
motion to accept the auditor’s
report as given and Mrs. Simon
made a 2nd and it carried unopposed.
Mrs. Sturlese presented the
BCBS Insurance Renewal premiums
with an increase of 5.6% and
Mr. Romero made a motion to
accept the increase and Mrs.
Simon made a 2nd and motion carried
to accept the 5.6% premium
increase.
Mrs. Perry gave the payroll,
bill and budget to actual budget
report Mr. McFatter made a
motion to accept payroll, bills and
budget to actual report a 2nd was
made by Mrs. Doxey and motion
carried.
Mrs. Coleman presented the
board with the only received bid
for a new build ambulance from
Siddons Martin in the amount of
254,347.00 with no other bids to
open Mrs. Doxey made a motion to
accept this bid and Mrs. Simon
made the 2nd and it carried.
Mrs. Coleman presented the
directors report Mrs. Doxey made
a motion to accept and Mr.
McFatter made a 2nd to accept the
report as given. Motion carried.
Mr. Eric Fuselier chose to discuss
his medical concerns in the
open meeting therefore there was
not an executive session. Eric
came to give the board an update
on his condition and upcoming
medical procedures. No action
taken on this item.
There being no further business
to discuss Mrs. Simon made a
motion to adjourn and Mrs. Doxey
made a 2nd and it carried.
