CPAD2 met on September 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the CPAD2 Office at 979 Main St. Hackberry, La. 70645
Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM.
Pledge led by Mrs. Griffith
Prayer led by Mrs. Griffith
Members Present: Kattie Toups, Randall McFatter, Lynn Griffith, Calise Romero and Kathleen Simon.
Members Absent: Phyllis Doxey
Guest: Darla Perry, Amy Thompson, Brad Lester and Rhonda Coleman.
Members approved the July 18, 2023 board minutes with a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Simon and carried unopposed.
When ask there were no public comments.
Old Business:
1. None
New Business:
1. Mrs. Perry gave the payroll, bill and budget to actual budget report Mr. McFatter made a motion to accept payroll, bills and budget to actual report a 2nd was made by Mrs. Griffith, motion carried.
2. The board discussed the BCBS of La. renewal and with a motion by Mrs. Simon and 2nd by Mrs. Griffith and carried unopposed it was voted to approve the BCBS of La. renewal for 2023-2024.
3. Mrs. Coleman presented the board with the 2024 COLA of 3% and with a motion by Mrs. Simon and 2nd by Mrs. Griffith and carried all CPAD2 employees and the CPA will receive a 3% pay increase effective 1/1/2024.
4. The A/C duct system at the Hackberry station needs replaced and with a motion by Mr. Romero 2nd by Mrs. Simon and carried unopposed to accept ACE Air Conditioners proposal.
5. Mrs. Coleman gave the director’s report. Mr. McFatter made a motion to accept the report as given and Mrs. Simon made a 2nd and motion carried.
6. With no other business to discuss, Mrs. Simon made a motion to adjourn the meeting and with a 2nd by Mrs. Griffith, motion carried and meeting adjourned.
