Captain Max Adame, teacher at HHS and JBHS, as well as member of the National Guard, was deployed to Kosovo for the 2025-2026 school year. Upon return, he nominated Mr. Charley Lemons, Mrs. Paulette Campbell, Mrs. Jennifer Murrell, Mr. Andrew Monceaux, and Mrs. Joni Smith for the Patriot Award.

This award is given to employers and others that contribute to national security and protect liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force. Presenting the Patriot Award was Retired US Col Danny Allen.

We are so thankful to have Mr. Max back on campus and teaching our students. He is an important part of our faculty. We would also like to congratulate him for winning the Slovenian Medal for International Cooperation while deployed.
