Cameron Parish Police Jury October meetings will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, instead of Monday due to office closure.

The Agenda meeting, which begins at 10 a.m. includes hearing from Charles Bertrand about and RV Park on John St. with 32 spaces.

The Voting meeting which begins at 11 a.m. or at the conclusion of the Morning Agenda Meeting includes items such as consideration and approval of Letter of Support for Cameron Port’s request to lease property from the State; consideration and approval of updated permit fee schedule; and an open hearing on the proposed change to the Cameron Parish Ordinances regarding Offences and Miscellaneeous Provisions pertaining to Disturbing the Peace violations.

The Budget meeting will be held at 1 p.m. or at the conclusion of the Voting Agenda meeting and cover a 2027 Budget Review, 2026 Budget Request and 2027 Budget Request. These three meetings will be held at the Cameron Parish Police Jury West Annex-Board Room, 148 Smith Circle, Cameron.

Those wishing to speak at meetings must speak on an item that is on the agenda and fill out a green cardand give it to the Cameron Parish secretary prior to the meeting.
