“Color Our World”, Summer Reading Program, kickoff events across parish

The Cameron Parish Library is excited to announce the launch of its 2025 Summer Reading Program, themed “Color Our World”, with a fun-filled week of kick-off events across the parish.

The celebration will feature Almosta Ranch Petting Zoo, Tasha’s Creative Face Painting, animal balloon twisting, refreshments, door prizes, and a variety of lovable animals, including a pony for petting, chickens, ducks, goats, tortoises and a Great Pyrenees.

These events are open to patrons of all ages, and everyone is invited to register for the Summer Reading Program and pick up a full summer schedule. All activities, programs, and performances offered by the library are free and open to the public.
