Claude G. LeCompte, 71, a native of Raceland and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022.

LeCompte had been a teacher and coach at South Beauregard schools; Asst. principal at DeQuincy Middle School; Asst. principal and Principal at DeQuincy Elementary; and had lived in Singer prior to moving to Cut Off.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Thursday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m. until funeral time. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m.

He is survived by his wife Rosalind Crain LeCompte; daughters, Abbey LeCompte, Addey LeCompte and Megan (Cody) Galliano; grandchildren, Paige Guidry, Eleanor Galliano, Olive Galliano, Norris Galliano and Alexander “Buttaman” LeCompte; brother, Randy LeCompte; and godchild, Shannon LeCompte.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Noelie LeCompte Zeringue; and son-in-law, Robert Guidry, Sr.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
