Through the generosity of Cheniere Energy Foundation, in partnership with Stine Home & Yard, Cameron Parish Revitalization Geaux is making available a limited number of $500 Stine Home & Yard gift cards to business in Cameron Parish. Cheniere contributed $10,000 and Stine added another $1,000 to fund this business gift card giveaway.
“Small businesses are the heart of Cameron Parish, and we are proud to support them in rebuilding,” said Amy Miller, Manager, Local Government and Community Affairs.
These cards are being awarded with the intention to assist businesses whose buildings were damaged by Hurricanes Laura and/or Delta and are back in business providing goods or services through a rebuilt or repaired structure. These businesses must have been licensed to operate in Cameron Parish at the time of the disaster, have operated out of a commercial building and be currently licensed to operate in Cameron Parish. Exclusions include businesses not operating pre-Laura/Delta, home offices, campgrounds or similar businesses whose services are not provided through a storefront that serves the public.
“We are grateful to Cheniere Energy Foundation for providing the funding to assist our pre-Hurricane Laura local businesses to once again serve our communities,” said Ashley Kelley Buller, Cameron Parish Revitalization Geaux Committee Chairman.
This business gift card hurricane recovery project follows three rounds of gift card giveaways – a total of over $166,000 – previously given to Cameron Parish residents to assist with repairing and rebuilding their homes. The residence gift card giveaways were funded by donations made to the Cameron Parish Lions Club for hurricane recovery by various LNG partners and their vendors.
Cameron Parish businesses that meet the criteria outlined above may apply for the gift cards at the Cameron Parish Revitalization website: www.cprgeaux.org.
