The Cal Cam Fair, a fall tradition, will celebrate its 100 year celebration (1922-2022), Wednesday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Oct. 16 at West Cal Arena, located at 401 Arena Rd., Sulphur.
Some of the festivities will include carnival rides, livestock show, food, baked goods and arts/crafts contest, beauty pageants, talent show, bands and entertainment and more.
Admission is charged; proceeds benefit scholarship fund. Call the festival office for more information at 337-527-9371.

The theme for the Cal Cam Fair this year is “100 Years of Making Tomorrow’s Memories Today”.
Admission cost is $5 on Thursday, $10 on Friday, $15 on Saturday (all day) and $5 on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
The Carnival wrist band price is $20 on Thursday, $25 on Friday, $30 on Saturday, and $20 on Sunday.

Saturday, Oct. 8
Pageant: Doors open at 8 a.m. starting with Petite Miss, Five year old to 12 year old until 11 a.m.
Starting at 1 p.m., Freshman Miss, Teen Miss, Young Miss Cal Cam then Miss Cal Cam. Pageant will be held at Sulphur High School auditorium.
Wednesday, Oct. 12
Exhibits only, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 13
Gates open at 4 p.m. Rides start at 5 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.
Introduction of Board Member, Public Official and Founder, Dr. Lafarque family, 6 p.m.
Gospel Music, 6:30 p.m. until.
FrIday, Oct. 14
Gates open at 4 p.m. Rides at 5 p.m.-12 a.m.
Special Citizen Day, 10 a.m.-12 noon. Music by Larry Carrol.
Livestock Show – Registration: Sheep 1-1:45 p.m. Show starts at 2 p.m. followed by Goats and Pigs Showmanship (West Cal Arena North barns.) Calcasieu and Cameron Parish only).
Gates open at 4 p.m. Rides start at 5 p.m. and closes at midnight.
