State Representative Ryan Bourriaque (Abbeville) has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Louisiana Rural Caucus. Chairman of the Rural Caucus, Representative Chris Turner appointed seven caucus members to serve on the Executive Committee, and to lead the 68-member group of legislators for the 2021-2022 term.
Rep. Bourriaque said, “I am honored to be appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of the Louisiana Rural Caucus. It is my hope that my participation in the Rural Caucus Executive Committee will lead to policy and projects that benefit the rural constituents and businesses of Vermilion, Cameron, and Calcasieu Parishes and the state as a whole. The Rural Caucus will work to ensure a voice for rural districts and work toward educating other members of the need to improve the economic and social well-being of rural Louisiana.”
