The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, in coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard, announces a manual bridge operation schedule for the Black Bayou Bridge.

The Black Bayou Bridge will only be open to vehicle traffic from 6-8 a.m. and from 4-6 p.m. daily. This schedule is necessary to accommodate both vehicular and marine traffic while hurricane repairs are completed and will remain in effect until Monday, June 27.

Message boards will be in place to advise motorists of the allotted times for vehicle traffic.
