The Black Bayou Pontoon Bridge will resume limited service to vehicle traffic beginning at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The bridge remains inoperable due to mechanical issues so the Dept. of Transportation and Development will manually open and close the pontoon to facilitate vehicle traffic during peak hours.

The bridge will be open daily to vehicle traffic during the following times:

5-8 a.m. Monday through Friday

4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday

6-8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday

5-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

The bridge will remain open to marine traffic at all other times.
