Regular Meeting

April 21, 2026

Ernest Roberts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Board Members present were Ernest Roberts, Jessica Crador, Ronald Nunez, Beth Ferguson, and Jacqueline Gray. Beth Ferguson led the prayer and Jessica Crador led the pledge of allegiance.

Public Comments: There was no public comment.

On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the Johnson Bayou ramp building plans provided by K&M Project Services, LLC. and has given K&M Project Services, LLC. the authority to advertise for bids for the current Johnson Bayou ramp drawings/plans. Motion also included gathering bids for two alternate options, which include: 1) Current building plans with concrete slab under ramp area (roughly 30 X 36 in diameter) 2) Removing defective lift/elevator.

On the motion by Jessica Crador, seconded by Beth Ferguson, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the December 2025 minutes.

On the motion by Jessica Crador, seconded by Jacqueline Gray, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the March 2026 financial statement.

On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the Lowry Library demolition quote by Mudd Enterprises, LLC. Quote Amount: $18,950.00. 

There being no further business and upon the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:17 p.m.
