LEGAL NOTICE

This is to advise that the South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks No. 1, formerly known as, “Cameron Parish Water & Wastewater District No. 1” in regular session convened on the 3rd day of August 2026 accepted the portion of Work identified as Bid Item No. 1 (Mobilization/Demobilization), 2 (Temporary Signs and Barricades/Traffic Control), 3 (Clearing and Grubbing), 6 (Distribution Line and its Appurtenances associated with East Creole Highway LA-Hwy 1134), 10 (Distribution Line and its Appurtenances associated with LA-82 to Trosclair Road under Creole Canal), 11 (District 1, Wells 1, 4, and 5, Wellhead Chemical Dosing Process Modifications), 12 (District 1, Well 3 Ground Storage Tank, Wellhead Chemical Dosing Process Modifications, all components except the static inline mixer), 13 (District 7, Wellhead Chemical Dosing Process Modifications), 14 (District 9, Wellhead Chemical Dosing Process Modifications), 16 (District 1, Chemical Feed Enclosures), 17 (District 7 and 9, Chemical Feed Enclosures), 18 (District 9, Elevating of the Water Wells), 19 (District 7, Well 2 Raymond Richard Platform Modifications), 20 (District 7, Well 5 Mosquito Barn Platform Modifications), 21 (District 7, Well 4 Roy Bailey Demolition of Existing Platform and Provide and Install New Platform), 22 (District 1, Provide and Install New Platforms for Chemical Storage), 23 (District 7, Maintenance of Water Tower),  25 (Installation of Insertion Valves), 26 (SCADA System Improvements), 27 (Chain-Link Fencing), 28 (Site Clean-up/Hydroseeding), 29 (Provide Two Generators on Mobile Devices), 30 (District 1, Ground Storage Tank Discharge Flow Meter), 31 (District 9, Water Storage Tank Restoration), Change Order No. 1 (labor, equipment procurement, and materials to replace 230 linear foot of 8” watermain with 10” HDPE watermain by horizontal directional drill along with installing two M.J. gate valves w/box [10”], two 10×8 M.J. reducers, and a leak detection bypass meter; procedure to collect two samples from Well 2 to be sent off for a complete well profile analysis), Change Order No. 2 (procedure to clean and disinfect District 7, Well 2 per water system engineer’s report), Change Order No. 3 (water tower pipe material change [credit]; SW Generator to provide a Cummins 30kW generator with fuel and installation included; time and material to determine extent of buried concrete thrust block and September weather delays; remove and replace ground storage tank; time lost to diagnose and repair existing control panel; remove existing hydro-pneumatic tank and foundation and adjust well discharge piping; lower generator connection to ground level; pump motor for future; new meter vault) & Change Order No. 5 (Owner’s request to remove and install new control panel and VFD at District 7, Well 5; per K&M, January 8, 20 LC Electric’s price includes furnishing material, equipment, labor & SCADA Delta Process price includes furnishing VFD and control panel, labor, and warranty) as partially substantially complete and satisfactory the work performed under Project Number 2022-042A: South Cameron Water Consolidation Project, Water Treatment and Distribution Improvements pursuant to the certain contract between The Lemoine Company, LLC and said South Cameron Consolidated Waterworks No. 1, formerly known as, “Cameron Parish Water & Wastewater District No. 1” recorded under File No. 357581, in the Book of Mortgages, Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any person or persons having claims arising out of the furnishing of labor, supplies, material, etc., in the construction of the said work should file said claim with the Clerk of Court of Cameron Parish, Louisiana on or before forty-five (45) days after the first publication hereof, all in the manner and form as prescribed by law.  After the elapse of said time, the Cameron Parish Police Jury will pay all sums due in the absence of any such claims or liens.
