Adeline Styron

Adeline Marie “Sha Sha” Styron, 88, of Creole died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020. She was born in Creole.

She was a graduate of St. Charles Academy. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole. She had a love for cooking and opened many restaurants through out Cameron and Calcasieu parishes. She was well known for her delicious Cajun – Creole cooking and hospitality.

She is survived by her sons, Karlton Styron and wife Sherry of Lake Charles, Karl Styron and wife Jamie of Creole, and Chuck Styron of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Sister Lurlie Boudoin of Op.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Edith M. Boudreaux Boudoin; the father of her children Charles Otis Styron Jr.; two brothers; and one sister, Greta Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday Dec. 4, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Wayne LeBleu officiating. Burial followed at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Creole.
