Ernest Roberts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Board Members present were Ernest Roberts, Jessica Crador, Ronald Nunez, Beth Ferguson, and Jacqueline Gray. Beth Ferguson led the prayer and Jessica Crador led the pledge of allegiance.
Public Comments: There was no public comment.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted Ernest Roberts as Board President.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ronald Nunez, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted Jessica Crador as Board Vice President.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the September 2025 minutes.
On the motion by Jessica Crador, seconded by Ronald Nunez, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the October 2025 financial statement.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the 2026 library budget.
On the motion by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the 2026 board meeting dates.
On the motion by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted to get bids for the demolition of the Lowry Library.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted to resend the motion at the September 23, 2025 meeting to purchase a new elevator lift for Johnson Bayou for $22,517.50.
On the motion by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Jessica Crador, and carried, the Library Board voted to start the designing process of an ADA accessible ramp at the Johnson Bayou Library.
There being no further business and upon the motion by Jessica Crador, seconded by Beth Ferguson, and carried, the Library Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:16 p.m.
