The Hackberry Fire Protection District 1 Board met for a regular session at the Hackberry Fire Station located at 1025 Main Street on Wednesday March 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Mr. Thad Little, Mr. Colton Sanner, Mr. Lawrence Little, Mr. Robert Silver, Mr. Gerald Landry
Employees present: Sydney Bird
District members present: Chief Clint Welch, Brad Lester
Absent: Mr. Michael Fewell

The meeting was called to order by Board President Thad Little who also led the pledge and prayer.
On motion from Lawrence, seconded by Robert and carried unanimously, the minutes from February 11, 2026 and February 23, 2026, meetings, were approved.
The financial reports for the months of January and February were presented by Sydney.
The panel project has been completed.
Ward 7 firetruck has been picked up and now in service.
On motion from Lawrence, seconded by Robert, and carried unanimously, to accept the grant from Sempra to pay for new pump for side by side.
On motion from Colton, seconded by Lawrence, and carried unanimously, to approve Cade Guidry to split station duty at $12 per hour with max hours of 40 hours per pay period between Cade and Brad.
Chief Welch reported on Fire Department activities and equipment/apparatus maintenance update.
There being no further business, on motion from Gerald, seconded by Lawrence and carried unanimously, the meeting was adjourned.
