CAMERON PARISH WATER AND WASTEWATER DISTRICT NO. I

The Cameron Parish Water and Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the water district office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.
Guests: Katie Armentor, CPPJ, Scott Trahan, CPPJ, Brent Morales, Coastal Cans
President Chris Mooney called the meeting to order.
The Pledge was led by Chris Mooney and the voluntary Prayer was led by Tammy Peshoff.
Roll Call: Present: Chris Mooney, Tammy Peshoff, Kathy Guthrie and Cecil Clark III
Absent: Fred Sanders
There were no Public Comments.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried, to approve and dispense from reading the regular session January 2021 minutes.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried, to approve the financial statement for the month of January.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, that the bills for the month of January 2021 be paid.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried with a vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, 0 abstained to go into Executive Session to discuss salary adjustments.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried with a vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, 0 abstained to return to regular session.
Salary adjustments were tabled until March 23, 2021 board meeting.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, to adopt the MWPP (Municipal Water Pollution Prevention) resolution for the year 2020.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried, to rescind Coastal Cans rate adopted January 26, from .10¢ per gallon to .06¢ per gallon with the option to increase the rate in a year.
On a motion by Kathy Guthrie, seconded by Tammy Peshoff and carried, to impose a fine of $100.00 for not recording dumps on Coastal Cans manifest forms. This is in addition to the actual dump made.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Kathy Guthrie and carried, effective February 23, 2021, all water taken from a fire hydrant will be billed as follows: $25.00 flat rate set up fee per job and $15.00 per 1,000 gallons.
On a motion by Tammy Peshoff, seconded by Cecil Clark III and carried, there being no further business, the meeting · ands adjourned.
