Stacy Lynn Simon died Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at the age of 51.

She was born in Lafayette and graduated from South Cameron High School.

She is survived by her companion, Jermey Myers; children, Jimmy Dowd (Whitney), Dylan Dowd (Melissa), Tory Medina (Eli), Taylor Guillory, and Spencer Guillory (Brooklynn) and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Ezora Broussard (Henry); siblings, Becky Simms, Shannon Thibodeaux, Tommy Sonnier, and Thelma January.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raphael Doucet; grandson, Ezekiel Guillory; and her grandparents.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa. Cremation follow ed under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa.
