The Grand Lake Hornets Baseball team has a chance to win the District 4-1A championship outright this week after sweeping Oberlin last week in convincing fashion.

The Hornets will battle the Merryville Panthers for the district crown this week with the first matchup at home on Tuesday, Apr. 7, at 5:30 p.m. and then they traveled to Merryville on Thursday, Apr. 9, at 5 p.m.

The Hornets are currently riding a six game winning streak and are ranked #6 in the Division IV non select power ratings as of Monday morning.
