Surrounded by loved ones, Lisa Laray Booth Henry was lifted into heaven on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, godmother, aunt and friend to many, Lisa drew her last breath as sacred and celebrated as her first.
Born on June 26, 1965, in Metairie, Lisa grew up in Welsh. She was a 1983 graduate of Welsh High School and the recipient of the Masonic Honesty and Integrity Award. After earning a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from McNeese State University, Lisa worked as a Special Ed teacher in Southwest LA for thirteen years.
