?PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on Monday, March 13, at 5:00 p.m. Members present by roll call were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Kent Carlson, Ms. Bobbie Trahan, Mr. Nathan Griffith, and Mr. Mark Young. Members absent were none. Employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, Jeff Landry, and Aaron Jinks. Guest attending were Les Hanson, Erik Jansson, and Hans Verswijver with Commonwealth LNG.
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Mrs. Connie Trahan.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
It was moved by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Carlson and carried to accept the February minutes as read.
Fema is still in the EHP review process on the approval of the relocation project for the Holly Beach water tower rebuild.
There were 2 bids received on the 3 old generator trailers. The highest bid on the 3 trailers was JJ Merchant. It was moved by Mr. Young to accept the highest bid on the trailers. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried. Rhonda will contact the successful bidder and schedule transfer.
Advertisement for the acceptance of bids on the purchase of a new work truck were ran in the Cameron Pilot however no bids were received. The Superintendent will seek a truck meeting specifications on the bid form for purchase. It was moved by Mr. Carlson to purchase the truck meeting specifications. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Connie Trahan and carried.
Commonwealth LNG representatives Les Hanson, Erik Jansson, and Hans Verswijver discussed the Commonwealth LNG project and timeline along with the water needs and production capabilities. Updates on the Holly Beach water tower Fema Environmental review and the proposed new well site will be sent to them as received.
It was moved by Ms. Bobbie Trahan, seconded by Mr. Carlson, and carried to approve the bank statements and monthly financial statement.
It was moved by Mrs. Connie Trahan seconded by Ms. Bobbie Trahan and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m. R.S. 44:33.1 – Public records can be obtained by contacting Rhonda Morrison at (337) 569-2110 or 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou, Louisiana.
