Permitter Inspector Position –
The Cameron Parish Police Jury is seeking a motivated and highly qualified indi.vidual to fill the Permitting Inspector position. Typical duties may include :
Building inspection functions related to structural, plumbing, electrical and mechanical standards, and other building site issues, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Review sketches and conceptual drawings for proposed project construction,alterations, and/or repairs.
Prepare and issue violation notices and stop work orders.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, Certified Building Code certification preferred. The salary range is $46,240 to $98,816 annually and includes full bene.fits, paid holidays, and paid leave.
