4-H University will be held June 17-20, at LSU for 8th-12th grade 4-H members.

Deadline to sign up is Friday, Apr. 11.

Registration is going on now. Stop by the office to register for an event. 4-Hers are asked to start thinking about ideas and contests. Contact the Cameron Parish 4-H office if you are interested in attending as well as if you are interested in running for any 4-H Ambassador & Leadership Boards.

Each year 4-H members who are in the 8th-12th grade as of Aug. 1, 2024, are eligible to participate in 4-H University to demonstrate their skills in more than 30+ competitive events. It is the culmination of a 4-H member’s year of hard work and dedication. Events range from Demonstrations, Automotive Care, Fishing Sports, Public Speaking, Fashion Revue, and more! Through competing, youth demonstrate life skills in teamwork, decision making, problem solving, resiliency, and many more. Each competitive event allows youth an opportunity for personal growth, skill mastery, and other life skills vital to functioning members of society.
