Libby Baccigalopi is the 12th Grade Student of the Year and a 3rd time winner for South Cameron High School.

Baccigalopi is the daughter of Lauren and Brett Baccigalopi and has been a resident of Cameron for her entire life. Some of her interests include: dinosaurs, nature, genealogy, history, psychology, music and video games.

Her plans include attending LSU and pursuing a degree in Veterinarian Medicine with the intention of becoming a large animal vet.

Aiden Bell is the 8th Grade Student of the Year for South Cameron High School.

Bell is the son of David and Danielle Bell of Creole and an honor roll student at South Cameron High School. He is involved in Beta Club and Student Council where he serves as a class officer. He participates in middle school baseball and basketball and was on the Tarpon Varsity Baseball team last year. He was awarded numerous subject awards and Student of Month in 7th grade.

Bell attends The River Church and is currently one of the children’s church leaders.

Journey Fontenot is the 5th Grade Student of the Year for South Cameron High School.

Fontenot is the daughter of Jennifer and Dammie Fontenot and has been attending South Cameron High School since PreK-3.

She is a Banner Roll student who enjoys dancing competitively for Cathy Kurth Dance Academy, playing softball for Stars and Stripes, and participating in cheer, basketball, softball, and track, at South Cameron, as well as Theater and Elementary Beta Club.
