Lady Tarpons roll over Gueydan

On Monday Mar. 3, the South Cameron Lady Tarpons hosted the Gueydan Lady Bears in non district action. It didn’t take long for South Cameron to score as they would plate 8 runs in the first inning.

Emma Hebert was fantastic in the circle going the distance while only allowing 2 hits and striking out 10 batters.

Emma Hebert was 2-3 with an RBI, Lexi Hooper was 1-4 with 2 RBIs, and Sophie Trahan was 1-3 with an RBI.

Lady Hornets hold off DeRidder

On Friday Feb. 28, the Grand Lake Lady Hornets hosted played the DeRidder Lady Dragons in the Jamie Cooper Memorial tournament in Ragley.

Hannah Thevis was 2-4, Maddie Trahan was 2-3 with an RBI, Baileigh Conner was 1-4 with an RBI, and Mia Richard was 1-3 with an RBI.

Lady Hornets rally to beat Rosepine

On Saturday Mar. 1st the Grand Lake Lady Hornets played the Rosepine Lady Eagles in the Jamie Cooper Memorial Tournament in Ragley, Grand Lake scored 6 runs in the 6th inning to secure a well earned victory over a really good Rosepine team.

Hannah Thevis was 1-3 with 2 RBI’s, Maddie Trahan was 2-4, Layken Fontenot was 1-3 with an RBI, and Mia Richard was 1-3 with 2 RBI’s.
