The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on September 9, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. Members present by roll call were Kent Carlson, Bobbie Trahan, Nathan Griffith, and Mark Young. Members absent were Connie Trahan. The employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Shannon Hebert, Jeffery Landry, Aaron Jinks, and Carl Trahan.
It was moved by Nathan Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge and prayer were said by all present.
It was moved by Mark Young to accept the agenda as presented with changes. The motion was seconded by Kent Carlson and carried.
A Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Bobbie Trahan, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to accept the August minutes as read.
It was moved by Mark Young to approve the contract with Utility Service Company on the repairs to the well site storage tank in the amount of $84,746.00. No comment was made. The motion was seconded by Kent Carlson and carried.
It was moved by Mark Young to approve the contract with Utility Service Company on the repairs to the Holly Beach East Storage Tank in the amount of $138,984.00. No comment was made. The motion was seconded by Kent Carlson and carried.
It was moved by Kent Carlson to authorize Fenstermaker to move forward with the Capital Outlay funding application. No comment was made. The motion was seconded by Bobbie Trahan and carried.
The 2025 Sanitary Survey updates were given, the well-site survey request was discussed, and the monthly/annual asset maintenance documents were reviewed. No motions were made.
It was moved by Bobbie Trahan, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to approve the bank statements and the Actual vs. Budget report for the month ending August 2025.
It was moved by Kent Carlson, seconded by Mark Young, and carried to approve the bills as paid.
