NOTICE OF
CONSIDERATION
OF INCREASE IN
GRAVITY NO. 8 DRAINAGE DISTRICT PRESIDENT’S COMPENSATION
Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 38:1794, Section B(2)(a), the Board of Commissioners of the Gravity Drainage District No. 8 hereby gives public notice that it is considering increasing the per diem compensation of the Board President to $100.00 per meeting.
This increase is being considered in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 38:1794, Sec. B(2), which allows for per diem increases, expense reimbursements, or other forms of compensation upon approval by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the full membership of the Board.
As required by law, this public notice is being issued at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting at which the vote will be held.

Members of the public are invited to attend. The proposed compensation change will be considered and may be adopted by the Board at this meeting.
