?PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Cameron Parish Gravity Drainage District #9 has applied for a 401 Water Quality Certification for the proposed South Hackberry Flood Control Structure project to clear, grade, excavate, and place fill to install a levee and flood control structure located east of LA 27 between Black Lake and Calcasieu Lake approximately 3.5 miles South of the Town of Hackberry, Cameron Parish. Cameron Parish Gravity Drainage District #9 is applying to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Environmental Services for a Water Quality Certification in accordance with statutory authority contained in the LAC 33:IX.1507.A-E and provisions of Section 401 of the Clean Water Act.
