Cameron Parish Recreation District 5 held a special meeting on September 25, 2025 at 6:00 pm.
The meeting began with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance led by Jacob Babcock.
The invocation was led by Kris Howerton.
Board President Tremayne Picou called the meeting to order and on roll call the following members were present: Jacob Babcock, Thomas Cox and Kris Howerton

Adopt a resolution requesting that the Cameron Parish Police Jury borrow not to exceed $5,000,000.00 of revenue bonds – board president Tremayne Picou read the resolution aloud. Thomas Cox made a motion to adopt the resolution. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The board members present voted to adopt the resolution. The official vote was 4 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 0 abstained. The motion carried unanimously.

With no further business to discuss, Thomas Cox made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
