The Minutes from the June meeting was approved. A motion was made by Mike Henry seconded by Ronald Nunez, all were in favor.
The financial report was approved. A motion was made by Shirley Gray seconded by Ronald Nunez , all were in favor.
A motion was made by Mike Henry to pay all current bills. The motion was seconded by Shirley Gray all were in favor.
The board approved the 2023 audit report. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Shirley Gray. All were in favor.
The board approved Permit# 240801 Cameron Parish Gravity Drainage District #3. North Cameron Protection Levee Repairs. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Mike Henry. All were in favor.
Mitch Thomas reported to the board the North Cameron Protection Levee permit is in the last stage of being approved. The levee was inspected 2 years ago. The breached areas will need to be inspected again before the bid process starts to make sure they can still be fixed like the original plan. The board members and K&M services will plan a date to go and look at the levee.
Rusty Welch reported to the board Kara Bonsall advised him FEMA will reimburse for the fence at W1 West. He will get invoices and cleared checks from this project.
Rusty Welch also gave a report on storm water for hurricane Beryl. All of the water drained to the north. There was no water intrusion problems from this storm.
A motion was made by Ronald Nunez to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Mike Henry, all were in favor.
