OF CAMERON PARISH
October 29, 2025
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 of Cameron Parish held a regular meeting at South Cameron High School, 753 Oak Grove Highway, Grand Chenier, Louisiana 70643, at 5:30 pm, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Chairman Shane Broussard called the meeting to order.
Board members present for the meeting were Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, Yancy Welch, Zavier Theriot and Dan Nunez. All board members were present.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the minutes of the Wednesday, September 17, 2025, meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Nunez seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board accepted the financial report of September 30, 2025.
On motion of Mr. Welch, seconded by Mr. Griffith and carried, the Board approved the following bills for payment:
1. Jeff Davis Electric Co-Op – $82.59
2. Cameron Pilot – $47.00
On motion of Mr. Welch, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the Board approved to send a work order to Cameron Parish Police Jury to evaluate the lateral “Snake Bayou” to determine if it needs cleaning with a machine or spraying.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the Board approved the following permit:
Permit: LCUP#251015 – Marais Pipeline LLC – Location of Permit: Cameron Parish, Latitude 30.6’16.47”, Longitude – 93.27’24.1”, (proposes to construct, and operate a new natural gas pipeline and associated facilities in Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes, Louisiana. The project required a reroute to the third party utilities. The purpose of the pipeline is to provide an additional 1.9 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of gas supply to Venture Global CP2 LNG, LLC’s CP2 LNG Terminal via connection to natural gas infrastructure in Calcasieu Parish. Approximately 44.0 miles of new, 48-inch diameter, Class 900 natural gas pipeline and associated aboveground facilities, including two meter stations, four mainline valves (MLVs), and two tap valves in southwest Louisiana.)
There being no further business, on a motion from Mr. Welch, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
