?PROCEEDINGS
The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Members present by roll call were Mrs. Connie Trahan, Mr. Kent Carlson, Mr. Jim Snyder, Mr. Nathan Griffith, and Mr. Mark Young. Members absent were none. Guest attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, Aaron Jinks, and Jeffrey Landry
It was moved by Mr. Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Mr. Griffith.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Mr. Snyder and seconded by Mr. Young and carried to accept the minutes as read.
The holly Beach water tower rebuild project was discussed. The land acquisition has passed the House and is processing to the Committee and Senate floor.
It was move by Mr. Carlson to adopt the 2022 millage rate of 4.16. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mr. Young with the following yes votes being cast: Mr. Snyder, Mrs. Trahan and Mr. Griffith. The 2022 millage rate of 4.16 was adopted.
Generator purchase vs. rebuilding the three 150kw generators was discussed. Rhonda presented quotes of new purchase compared to refurbishing the present generators. Additional information will be obtained and reviewed at the next meeting.
It was moved by Mr. Carlson, seconded by Mr. Snyder and carried to approve the bills as paid.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Griffith to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
