The Gravity Drainage District No. 16 (“District”) governed by the Board of said District (the “Board”), of the Parish of Cameron, State of Louisiana, met in regular public session at its regular meeting place, 434 Veterans Memorial Drive, Klondike, Louisiana, at six (6:00) o’clock p.m. on May 29, 2025, according to written notice given to every member thereof and duly posted in the manner required by law.
The President called the meeting to order, and on roll call, the following members were PRESENT:

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE DESCRIBING THE GEOGRAPHIC LIMITS OF GRAVITY DRAINAGE DISTRICT NO. 16 OF THE PARISH OF CAMERON, STATE OF LOUISIANA.
WHEREAS, by initial affirmative action taken by the Gravity Drainage District No. 16, an election has been called for November 15, 2025, to consider the levy of an ad valorem tax in the Gravity Drainage District No. 16 (“District”), and as a result thereof, it is necessary to publish notice of the boundaries of the District;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Gravity Drainage District No. 16 as follows:
SECTION 1.The statements of fact expressly contained within the preamble to this Resolution have been specifically reviewed by the Gravity Drainage District No. 16 and are found to be factually true and correct. These statements are hereby made as resolutions of Gravity Drainage District No. 16.
SECTION 2.That the President and Secretary of this Gravity Drainage District No. 16 are empowered, authorized, and requested to cause to be published a public notice describing the geographic limits of the District, said publication to be made in one issue of the Cameron Pilot, in the same edition as the Notice to Voters is published, pertaining to the special tax election authorized by the District, by resolution adopted this date.

BOUNDARIES GRAVITY DRAINAGE DISTRICT NO. 16 CAMERON PARISH, LOUISIANA
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Section 1, Township 12 South, Range 3 West, being the Northeastern Most Corner of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, thence from said point of beginning, proceed in a Westerly direction along the Northern most boundary of Cameron Parish to the Northwest Corner of Section 6, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, thence in a Southerly direction along the West Line of Township 12 South, Range 4 West to the South line of said Township 12 South, Range 4 West, thence proceed in an Easterly direction along the South line of said Township 12 South, Range 4 West and continue through partial Section 31, Township 12 South, Range 3 West to the intersection of the South Bank of the Intracoastal Waterway, thence following the meander of the South Bank of said Intracoastal Waterway to the Eastern most boundary line of Cameron Parish, which is located in Section 13, Township 13 South, Range 3 West, thence in a northly direction along the Eastern most boundary line of Cameron Parish to the point of beginning.
