BOARD MEETING
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Delia Sanders, Shantell McDaniel, Tammy Peshoff
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Wendy Gaspard, Paul Sellers
FIREMEN PRESENT: Tim Dupont, Catlyn Hendrix, Angel Baccigalopi, Jennifer Jones
OTHERS PRESENT: Davy Doxey
The meeting was called to order at 5:50 p.m. and the pledge was led by Tammy. On a motion by Tammy and seconded by Shantell, the minutes of the May 8 meeting were approved.
On a motion by Tammy and seconded by Shantell, the April financial report was accepted.
In the chief’s report, the following action was taken:
Bunker gear has been ordered and just waiting for everything to come in.
A-1 Door is able to fix the broken doors with just slats. He will be back in 3 weeks, but doesn’t have a price total yet.
Creole and Cameron Fire Depts. and the Ambulance dept. had training on Sunday, June 9th at the Creole Fire Dept. They practiced with the Jaws of Life on an old car. More people are needed to show up at trainings.
Russell Robins will come next month to do hydrant testing.
Cameron is waiting on the packet for the fire rating. Once it is received, we have 30 days to complete and return it. Once it is returned, they will set up an appointment for inspection.
Jennifer will check more in depth on the paper to be signed for Rusty’s retirement money and see what should be done.
