A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 4:15 p.m.
Members Present: Travis LaBove, Travis Welch, and Terry J. Murphy.
Members Absent: Bethany Moore and Desiree Boykin.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Vice-Chairman; Travis LaBove and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried for all employees of the Hackberry Recreation District and the HRD Multi-Purpose Facility to receive a 3 percent raise effective 3/1/2026.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to enter into agreement with Gragson, Casiday, and Guillory, LLP for the financial review for the year ending 12/31/2025.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to adopt the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for the 2025 Financial Review.
Motion by Travis Welch, seconded by Terry J. Murphy, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
