A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Cen ter in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, on Monday, February 17,2025 at 4:15 p.m.
Members Present: Desiree
Boykin, Travis Welch, Terry J. Murphy, and Travis LaBove.
Members Absent: Bethany Moore.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Terry J. Murphy and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Desiree Boykin, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Desiree Boykin, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Desiree Boykin, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried for all employees of the Hackberry Recreation District and the HRD Multi-Purpose Facility to receive a 3 percent raise effective 3/1/2025.
Motion was made by Desiree Boykin, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to enter into agreement with Gragson, Casiday, and Guil lory, LLP for the financial review for the year ending 12/31/2024.
Motion was made by De siree Boykin, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to adopt the Louisiana Com pliance Questionnaire for the 2024 Financial Review.
Motion by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
