On Thursday, Feb. 19, the Johnson Bayou Lady Rebels welcomed in the Hornbeck Lady Hornets from northern Vernon Parish with a trip to the second round of the class C playoffs on the line.

The Lady Rebels and Lad Hornets played a tight game but in the end, JBHS came out on top by the final score of 47-43 which means they will now travel to Vernon Parish to take on the Simpson Lady Broncos on Monday Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.
