There was a regular meeting of Gravity Drainage District No. 8 at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Grand Lake Waterworks Office.
PRESENT: Jake McCain, Tommy Arceneaux, Terry Smith, James Cox
ABSENT: Marsha Delaney
GUESTS: None
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the minutes of the of the May 18, 2023, meeting are approved.
On a motion of Terry Smith, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the board hereby approves to add the following items to the agenda:
Item 3b – LCUP # 230801
Item 3c – LCUP # 230802
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the June 30th Finance Report was approved as presented by the Secretary.
On a motion of Tommy Arceneaux, seconded by Terry Smith and carried, the board approved the following permits:
LCUP # 230610 – Greg Richard – Fishing Pond
LCUP # 230801 – JD Guillory – Pond for Driveway/Shop Pad
LCUP # 230802 – Volney Griffin – Mulch 4 acres and replant with native hardwood trees
On motion of James Cox, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
