Johnson Bayou Students of the Year told

Dallas Sandifer is the twelfth-grade student of the year for Johnson Bayou High School.

He is the son of Cheyenne and Dominique Sandifer and the older brother of four younger siblings that he loves dearly.

He is a lifelong resident of Johnson Bayou and is proud to graduate from Johnson Bayou High School, like his parents and grandparents before him. He participates in basketball, track, cross country, and talented art. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and listening to music.

Next year, Sandifer plans to attend McNeese State University.

Arnoldo Jasso Jr. is the eighth-grade student of the year for Johnson Bayou High School.

He has attended JBHS since the 5th grade. He is the son of Mayra and Arnoldo Jasso and has two younger siblings. He participates in track, basketball, and cross country.

Jasso enjoys riding his side-by-side, hanging out with his friends, and playing with his dog.

Alaya Trahan is the 5th-grade student of the year for Johnson Bayou High School.

She is the daughter of Justine Trahan. She participates in talented art, basketball, 4-H, and robotics.

She enjoys playing on her phone, drawing, experimenting with fashion, and going to bonfires with her family.

Trahan has a big heart, cares about others, and she really loves her cat named Pablo.
