The Cameron Parish Port Harbor & Terminal District met in regular session on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Port Board Building, Cameron, Louisiana at 5:00 o’clock PM.
Present: Howard Romero, Tremayne Picou, Thomas Cox, Sheila Miller, Vince Theriot, Brent Morales, Alfred Devall
Absent: Dwight Savoie, Joseph Devall Sr., Kevin Vincent, Nathan Griffith

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Howard Romero.
Vince Theriot led the Pledge of Allegiance and Thomas Cox gave the invocation.
There was no public comment.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Picou and carried the board approved the February 25, 2025 regular meeting minutes.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller seconded by Mr. Morales and carried the board approved the treasurer’s report.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the board approved the payment of the March 2025 bills.
There was no correspondence.
There were no reports from commissioners.
Under old business the board reconsidered sponsorship for LNG Summit.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the board approved sponsorship for LNG Summit.
Under new business the board discussed giving the president authority to sign letters of support to legislative delegation for FY 2026 Appropriations Request for Southwest Coastal, ratifying a letter of support to Cheniere asking them to build a road to the Sabine Pass Lighthouse, ratifying a letter of support to Lt. Governor to designate Sabine Lighthouse as a state park, giving director the authority to advertise to bid remaining Omega Project, consideration on expanding the AOC Park and Jolliet decommissioning.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller seconded by Mr. Cox and carried the board gave the president authority to sign letters of support to legislative delegation for FY 2026 Appropriations Request for Southwest Coastal.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Cox, and carried, the board ratified a letter of support to Cheniere asking them to build a road to the Sabine Pass Lighthouse.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Morales and carried, the board ratified a letter of support to the Lt. Governor to designate Sabine Lighthouse as a state park.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Picou and carried the board gave the director the authority to advertise to bid remaining Omega Project.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Alfred Devall, II., and carried the board approved expanding the AOC Park.
The next regular meeting will be scheduled for April 29, 2025 at 5 PM at the Cameron Parish Port Building.
There being no further business and upon motion of Mrs. Miller seconded by Mr. Cox and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
