REGULAR BUSINESS
MEETING WEDNESDAY
DECEMBER 14, 2022
The Johnson Bayou Recreation District of Cameron Parish met Wednesday December 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the Johnson Bayou Recreation Center located at 135 Berwick Rd. Johnson Bayou, LA 70631.
Members present: Mr. Heath Jinks, Mrs. Pamela Romero, Mrs. Adrienne Jinks and Mr. Calise Romero
Member absent: Ms. Tammy Erbelding
Guests: Mrs. Heather Trahan, Mr. Magnus Sonny McGee
Mr. Heath Jinks called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m.
The pledge and prayer were led by Mr. Heath Jinks.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
Mrs. Heather Trahan updated the board on the Community Center metal project. No bids have been submitted at this time.
A motion was made by Mr. Calise Romero, seconded by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, and carried to amend the 2022 budget.
A motion was made by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, seconded by Mr. Calise Romero, and carried to approve the 2023 proposed budget.
A motion was made by Mrs. Pamela Romero, seconded by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, and carried to accept the minutes from the November 21, 2022 meeting.
It was moved by Mrs. Pamela Romero, seconded by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, and carried to approve the bills as paid.
A motion was made by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, seconded by Mr. Calise Romero, and carried to accept review of the financial statements which includes budget-to-actual comparisons.
With no further business to discuss, it was moved by Mr. Calise Romero, seconded by Mrs. Adrienne Jinks, and carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:19 p.m. The next regular meeting will be held in January.
