The Lower Cameron Hospital Service District No. 2 met on May 13, 2025 at 5:30 pm and meeting was called to order, Board members in attendance were: Lynn Griffith, Allison Romero, Rhonda Coleman, Vickie Trahan and April Young
The prayer and pledge were recited.
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Griffith the Board approved the agenda.
Mrs. Coleman announced attendees and guests present which were Scotty Badon, and Tressie Brunson.
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board approved the minutes from the March 31, 2025 meeting.

Old Business
Maintenance Projects Updates
AC units will be replaced possibly by May 30th – 5 quotes were received by Mr. Badon.
Mr. Badon discussed items at this time the fences had not been started – items to be cleaned included painting handrails, restripe parking lot and pressure wash the lot
Checking Account Insurance Policy – no additional information
Status of Resident Mailer, Mrs. Brunson stated how it was well received in community
On the motion of Ms. Romero, seconded by Mrs. Young, the Board approved to accept Trouth Air Conditioning as low bidder for the AC unit’s replacement at the clinic.
New Business
Discussed how CPPJ will now start charging to cut grass at facility – Mr. Badon asked that his contract be reviewed to possibly add grass maintenance to the contract for an additional fee- to be discussed and reviewed at next meeting once pricing received from CPPJ
Discussion of Financials- Mrs. Griffith will secure pricing for checking account insurance and Mrs. Young will be added to the account to be able to view online as a secondary
Mrs. Brunson discussed:
WCCH financials report- stated additional services that Medicaid patients may be eligible for at no cost to patient
Discussed how if certain criteria in patient numbers are not met, the clinic may not receive VFC certification, but that matter can be resolved if necessary falling under the Vinton Clinic for ordering
Discussed that receptionist gave notice that her last day would be May 29th – interviews to be conducted once applications received
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board received the financials as presented by Mrs. Griffith.
Roll call vote was taken for the adoption of the 2025 Millage Rates to remain at the same rate as the 2024 Millages-
Yeas – Allison Romero, April Young, Lynn Griffith, Rhonda Coleman, Vickie Trahan
Nays – None
Abstain – None
Absent – None
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Ms. Romero, the Board approved to adjourn the meeting.
