The Grand Lake Hornets started off the 2025 regular season with a bang as they dominated the visiting East Beauregard Trojans 45-0 last Thursday at the Hornet’s Nest.

The Trojans received a heavy dose of Charles McFarland and company as they pounded the rock and took to the air at times and wore down the East Beau defense all night.

The Hornets’ defense was outstanding only allowing 88 yards of total offense on the night.

McFarland led the rushing for the Hornets with 8 carries for 122 yards and two touchdowns, quarterback JJ LaBove had a good night under center completing 3/7 passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
