The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on February 10, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Members present by roll call were Connie Trahan, Bobbie Trahan, Nathan Griffith, and Mark Young. Members absent were Kent Carlson. The employees attending were Rhonda Morrison and Shannon Hebert.
It was moved by Nathan Griffith to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present. The prayer was led by Connie Trahan.
It was moved by Mark Young to accept the agenda as presented with no additions. The motion was seconded by Bobbie Trahan and carried.
A Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was made.
It was moved by Bobbie Trahan, seconded by Connie Trahan, and carried to accept the January minutes as read.
It was moved by Connie Trahan to give Carl Trahan a 2.8% increase in pay, Rhonda Morrison a 5% increase in pay, and Shannon Hebert a 3.5% increase in pay. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Bobbie Trahan and carried.
It was moved by Connie Trahan to give Aaron Jinks a 2.8% increase in pay. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Bobbie Trahan and carried. Mark Young abstained from voting.
The water sector grant was discussed and no updates were available.
The Holly Beach storage tank is being repaired at this time. No other updates were given.
Irby extended the Cooperative Development Agreement at the Holly Beach north site until June.
The monthly/annual asset maintenance documents were reviewed. No motion was made.
It was moved by Connie Trahan, seconded by Bobbie Trahan, and carried to approve the bank statements and the Actual vs. Budget report for the month ending January 2026.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Bobbie Trahan, and carried to approve the bills as paid.
